Shop Hand / Installation Support

Bath Fitter is looking for a dependable and motivated Shop Hand to support our Wilmington branch with warehouse operations, inventory organization, service calls, and installation support. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, construction, carpentry, remodeling, delivery, or hands-on trade experience who wants to grow with a stable company.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Receive shipments and assist with inventory management
• Prepare materials and supplies for installations
• Support installers on job sites as needed
• Complete service calls and basic repair work
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and products
• Help maintain branch vehicles and equipment schedules
• Use tools and equipment safely and properly
• Follow Bath Fitter installation and safety standards
• Deliver professional customer service during service visits
• Work closely with the Branch team to support daily operations

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates typically have experience in:

• Warehouse operations
• Construction or remodeling
• Carpentry or trim work
• Shop support or labor roles
• Delivery/helper positions
• Service technician assistance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–2 years of hands-on work experience preferred
• Comfortable using basic power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physical role that includes:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs
• Moving supplies, tools, glass doors, and installation materials
• Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
• Working safely with PPE and warehouse equipment
