Remote Customer Service (Insurance Operations)

Are you a natural problem-solver who loves helping people navigate important life moments? We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented Remote Customer Service Representative to join our growing insurance operations team.

In this role, you will be the front-line support for policyholders, guiding them through inquiries related to supplemental health, life, and short-term disability insurance products. You will help everyday individuals understand their coverage, check on claims, and find peace of mind when they need it most.

While this position focuses on core voluntary benefits and supplemental insurance lines, our team supports a diverse portfolio of insurance products, offering excellent long-term growth and cross-training opportunities across the broader insurance sector. Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from policyholders, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy.

• Educate customers on policy benefits, assist with the claims filing process, and resolve billing or account inquiries.

• Accurately update customer records, document call notes, and process policy updates in our internal systems.

• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, state insurance regulations, and company privacy guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in a call center, customer service, or administrative role (experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services is a major plus, but not required).

• Comfortable navigating multiple computer screens, software programs, and chat tools simultaneously.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a knack for explaining complex information clearly.

• A quiet, distraction-free dedicated workspace with high-speed internet.
