Travel Interventional Radiology Tech Job Details

Interventional Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Active state or compact Radiologic Technologist license (ARRT preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Must pass EKG exam prior to start date
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to float within scope to support hospital and clinical operations
• Travelers only: Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
• Return staff policy: Must be away for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• System policy: 2-contract limit (eligible for one extension)

Key Responsibilities for Interventional Radiology Tech

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in the hospital's special procedures unit
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure accurate documentation using Epic
• Provide weekend coverage every other weekend as scheduled
• Float to other units within scope as needed to support hospital operations
• Comply with hospital policies, including call-off and return staff guidelines
• Complete all required orientation and compliance modules before assignment start
