Water Truck Technician

The Water Truck Technician works independently to operate a water truck and maintain an efficient daily watering schedule across multiple job sites. This role is critical to ensuring newly installed and established plant material is properly watered to maintain plant viability, long-term health, and overall landscape beauty. The Water Truck Tech will monitor plant conditions, adjust watering practices based on weather and site needs, and communicate observations to managers as needed. This position will also occasionally support our Floriculture team by assisting with driving, plant transport, or seasonal watering needs.

• Can maintain an efficient daily schedule and complete assigned routes
• Can document working hours and daily activities as required
• Can stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist throughout the day
• Has a valid and clean NC driver’s license
• Is comfortable operating larger vehicles or equipment
• Has general knowledge of plants, landscapes, or irrigation practices (preferred, not required)
