Summary Of Position

The Director of School-Based Development is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of school-based health services. This role focuses on advancing behavioral health initiatives while serving as a key liaison for medical, optometry, dental, and other clinical services delivered in educational settings. The Director will ensure integrated, high-quality care that meets the needs of students and supports the overall mission of school-based health programs.

This position oversees the Kintegra Behavioral Health Institute and collaborates with senior leadership to develop strategies, marketing initiatives, and operational plans for program expansion.

The Director serves as the primary liaison with school district officials, state and regional educational organizations, and community partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for service integration. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and advance access to comprehensive healthcare within schools.

Performance Requirements

  • Manages programs efficiently by overseeing operations, monitoring outcomes, and implementing improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Communicates clearly and persuasively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and leadership to advocate for initiatives and secure support for expansion efforts.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks with attention to detail and efficient time management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and various time constraints.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint use and email communication.

Education :Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Education, or related field.

Experience Required : Minimum of 5 years experience working within an educational setting. Minimum of 5 years leadership and program development experience.

K Ey Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business development / marketing strategies to promote school-based service programs considering expansion.
  • Partner with school-based operations leadership teams to identify opportunities for school-based program growth and development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business development / marketing efforts with organizational goals and service line objectives.
  • Partner with school-based program operational leaders to analyze data to identify opportunities for program growth and improvement.
  • Oversee the Kintegra Behavioral Health Institute, ensuring program quality and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with school districts, educational organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements for service delivery.
  • Represent the organization at regional and state-level meetings related to school-based health initiatives.
  • Complete all annual evaluations, in a timely manner, on direct reports.
  • Participates in staff meetings as required
  • Performs others administrative functions as directed.
