Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Required: 1 Year as a Registered Nurse Preferred: 1 Year in a Clinical Specialty License: Required: Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or a Compact State Certifications: Required: BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in the assigned unit. Ensures that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed. Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition. Develops individualized nursing care plans based on the analysis. Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments. Provides comprehensive and effective patient care. Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies additional interventions needed. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning. Performs other duties as assigned. Patient age groups include adults and geriatric patients. Daily census averages 39 patients with a total of 49 beds available. Unit focuses on specialized care for qualified patients with rehabilitation needs. Patient diagnoses may include CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and generalized debility. Staffing ratios are 6 patients per nurse on nights. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. All RNs are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance. Candidates are allowed two attempts at the pass/fail requirement. Study material for the EKG exam is not provided. About Cynet Health
