Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Wilson, North Carolina (27893) Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: July 7, 2025 End Date: October 6, 2025 Shift: 12-hour days (08:00-20:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1730 Setting: Emergency Department (ED), 17 beds Patient Ratio: 1:4 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Self-Scheduling: Available via "When to Work" app Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs (no hoodies) ER RN Qualifications ~ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina ~2-3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience ~ Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred ~ Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke ~ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) ~ Proven ability to care for patients of varying acuity in a fast-paced ED setting ~ Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department Monitor and respond to changes in patient status promptly and effectively Manage multiple patients with diverse diagnoses, including chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Document patient care using ED Paragon EHR system Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in accordance with hospital policies Experience the best of North Carolina nursing jobs in Wilson—a city known for southern hospitality, charming neighborhoods, and easy access to Raleigh and the coast.
