Construction Superintendent
Location: North Carolina (Statewide Travel Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Ground-Up Construction
A well-established commercial builder is hiring two experienced Superintendents—one for ground-up Multifamily projects and one for Commercial construction. These roles are perfect for hands-on builders who take full ownership of the site and want to work with a company that respects their time, invests in their growth, and provides full support from precon to punch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final inspections
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and trade crews (4+ trades)
- Develop and maintain project schedules and look-aheads
- Run daily site meetings and maintain alignment across field teams
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; lead weekly safety meetings
- Resolve job site challenges and handle RFI, scope changes, and logistics
- Maintain detailed field documentation, daily logs, inspections, and punch lists
- Deliver high-quality, on-time projects with full closeout and passed inspections

- 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent
- Proven experience running ground-up commercial or multifamily jobs
- Proficient with blueprints, construction documents, and project sequencing
- Skilled in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project (or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety compliance
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple trades and managing schedules/budgets
- Willing to travel across North Carolina to active project sites
