An Aveda Luxury Salon seeking Hair Stylists with exceptional customer service, and a sophisticated approach to beauty.:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform all hair services, including precision cutting, complex color work (such as balayage, foiling, color correction, and creative color), keratin/smoothing treatments, and formal styling (updos, event hair).

• Maintain an expert-level understanding and application of advanced coloring and cutting techniques, staying ahead of seasonal and industry trends.

  Consistently deliver flawless results that meet the salon's high standards for quality and luxury.

• Specialize in high-demand services such as premium extensions, or bridal hair, as required.

2. The Client Experience (Luxury Service)

• Conduct in-depth, personalized consultations to understand the client's vision, hair health, lifestyle, and maintenance commitment, offering expert recommendations.

  Provide a world-class, seamless, and pampering experience from greeting to checkout, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction are paramount.

• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and a polished appearance that reflects the salon's luxury brand.

• Build and sustain a loyal, high-value clientele through relationship-building, exceptional service, and consistent rebooking.

3. Retail Sales and Education

Serve as an expert advisor, educating clients on luxury hair care products, tools, and personalized at-home routines.

• Meet and exceed retail sales goals by recommending premium, salon-exclusive products that complement the services performed.

• Effectively communicate the value and benefits of high-end services and treatments.

4. Salon Operations and Professional Development

• Manage a full-service appointment book efficiently and with impeccable punctuality.

  Maintain a pristine and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilized according to state regulations and salon luxury standards.

• Mentor and collaborate with junior staff, apprentices, or assistants, sharing knowledge and upholding salon protocols.
• Attend all required salon meetings, training, and continuous education workshops to refine skills and learn new techniques and product lines

Qualifications and Requirements:

• New graduates encouraged to apply (will train)
• Licensure: Valid state Cosmetology license is mandatory.

  Portfolio: A strong professional portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality work, particularly in advanced color and cutting.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills; the ability to listen actively, guide clients confidently, and maintain a sophisticated demeanor.

  Clientele: Existing, portable clientele is highly desirable, demonstrating market influence and business acumen.

• Stamina: Physical ability to stand for extended periods and manage the physical demands of the job.

  Adaptability: Proven ability to manage complex scheduling, work effectively under pressure, and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced luxury setting.
