**Position Summary**
The Bookkeeper will handle accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), assist with financial analysis and reporting, and support core accounting functions. This role requires accuracy, initiative, and a team-player mindset. Experience with Global Shop ERP is a plus.
**Responsibilities**
**Accounts Payable**
+ Enter and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records in Global Shop.
+ Match invoices to packing slips and POs; verify coding and approvals.
+ Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
+ Process vendor payments via checks, ACH, and credit cards.
+ Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries.
+ Assist with A/P aging reports and cash flow planning.
**Accounts Receivable**
+ Generate and send customer invoices and account statements.
+ Apply customer payments and reconcile A/R accounts.
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
+ Work with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
+ Assist with credit applications and account setup.
**General Accounting Financial Support**
+ Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
+ Support financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
+ Track inventory-related expenses and cost variances.
+ Prepare and organize documents for audits.
+ Provide backup support across accounting/administrative functions.
**Team Operations Support**
+ Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and management.
+ Comfortable pitching in and handling multiple responsibilities.
+ Support process improvements and efficiencies.
**Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
+ Manufacturing or ERP experience preferred; Global Shop experience is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
+ Solid understanding of A/P, A/R, and general accounting principles.
+ Highly organized, accurate, and able to manage deadlines.
+ Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
