The Joint Network Analysis & Targeting-Instructor (JNAT-I) Program, Operations Staff Member 1(OSM-1) will provide part time on call support for the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), its subordinate commands as well as I, II & III MEFs, US Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and other DoD entities ensuring all service members engaged in JNAT and other training and exercises are trained to the highest standards of readiness prior to worldwide deployment in Joint Operating Environments. You will collaborate with active-duty Marines, Sailors and other service members internal and external to the organization. The JNAT Program, Operations Support Staff will aid the selected course and exercise Staff Leads (C/X-SLs), the units training and operations section using Joint Network Analysis & Targeting (JNAT) methods, Agile program management approach and the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) instructional design model. This position will coordinate with the C/X-SLs and JNAT program manager as well as unit Operations and Training Chiefs, subordinate unit training and operations chiefs, analysts, curriculum development experts, and instructors to consistently align exercise, training and education program materials and methods with stated objectives. The JNAT-I, OSM-1 aides in the conduct and review of course and program elements and makes recommendations and adjustments as applicable. The JNAT-I, OSM-1 will be trained as a JNAT Instructor in order to integrate those TTPs into Exercise and Operational design and support JNAT course execution as directs. The SME works with the Quality Assurance designs to ensure that improved methods and processes follow published regulations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work closely with the X-SL & JNAT-SL, unit Operations and Training Chiefs, course managers, and internal analysts to build and improve the unit training management program and curricular activities.
• Support the planning and design of the emerging exercises, education and training events, coordination of instructor and student materials, evaluations, and alternate learning methods.
• Support, coordinate and help execute, and assess individual student, staff and collective unit training across the JNAT program as a JNAT-I & OSM-1.
• Work with students, staff and subject matter experts to identify target audience and specific training needs by MOS and pre-deployment requirements.
• Execute Exercise and classroom in garrison and field environments.
• Train as JNAT Instructor (JNAT-I) and support JNAT-Courses after completion of training.
• Coordinate instructional research and analysis on learners and facilitators.
• Serve as Operational and Intelligence integration SME.
• Serve as a Command Element, Joint interoperability mentor for O-4 and above commands.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Unclassified Security Clearance
• Must have knowledge and skills in instructional design theories.
• Must have knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct studies and analyze findings.
• Past performance in directly supporting U.S. Marine Special Operations Command units and formal schools.
• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must possess self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively with others.
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.
• Past performance as a USMARSOC Commander O-4 or higher level, SOTF and JSOTF experience desired.
• Strategic SOF planning, organizing, and analyzing instructional development activities desired.
• Experience supporting multinational and Joint Operations is required, Joint Special Operations is desired.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Garrison work environment including but not limited to routine field/tactical environments
• Occasional extended working hours will be required
• Schedule: M-F 0700 to 1700 normal; some reverse operations will occur

Travel

• Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
• Up to 25-50%
