Responsibilities

• We're looking for a prime canadate that supervises daily bakery operations during their shift, ensuring high-quality products, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and upholding customer satisfaction, all while adhering to food safety and health standards. Key duties include coordinating staff schedules and tasks, monitoring stock levels, placing orders, performing food preparation and baking, ensuring a positive guest experience, handling customer service, and managing cash procedures during shift openings and closings.

Qualifications

• Staff Supervision : Overseeing and directing bakery staff throughout the shift, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and feedback.
• Production Management : Ensuring the timely and high-quality production of baked goods, which involves managing the processes of mixing, weighing, baking, frosting, and decorating.
• Inventory Control : Monitoring stock levels for ingredients, equipment, and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate inventory, and organizing stock.
• Customer Service : Fostering a positive work environment and ensuring a superior guest experience, which includes resolving customer complaints and managing special-order fulfillment.
• Operational Tasks : Performing various administrative and operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, cash drawer balancing, bank deposits, and basic accounting and expense control.
• Health & Safety Compliance : Ensuring that all health and safety requirements, food safety standards, and bakery policies and procedures are consistently upheld.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Baking and Preparation : Engaging in hands-on tasks like preparing dough, baking cookies and other items, and frosting cakes.
• Task Allocation : Delegating tasks to team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity during the shift.
• Quality Control : Checking baked goods to ensure they meet established quality standards and presentation standards.
• Team Coordination : Facilitating communication and coordination among team members to ensure smooth operations and productivity.
