Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician – Durham, NC | Morrisville, NC 27560
Bring your technical expertise to a role where you’ll make a real impact! We’re seeking a skilled Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a contract assignment. If you’re HVAC certified, experienced, and tech-savvy, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional property management team.
Pay: $21–$22/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities
- Complete general apartment maintenance and repairs
- Conduct unit inspections and perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Communicate professionally with third-party vendors and retrieve quotes
- Maintain accurate reports using computer and tablet
Qualifications
- HVAC certification preferred
- Versed in HUD INSPIRE inspections
- apartment maintenance experience
- Must have own tools
- Technically savvy: able to email, text, save reports, and use tablets
- Strong communication skills; comfortable working with senior tenants
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
