Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: North Carolina or compact license Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have Skills/Experience: Cerner experience IV competency Description: The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. A background in medical-surgical nursing is required. Experience with post-surgical patients, particularly orthopedic patients, is highly beneficial. The facility is equipped with 355 beds and offers various specialized services. The Emergency Department has 32 beds, and there is a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. There is also a surgical suite and imaging department available. The nursing unit consists of 18 beds. The typical patient ratio on the unit is 1:6. Common diagnoses include COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end-of-life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, and infection. The ideal candidate is a strong patient advocate and a team player. The environment is busy, so the ability to keep up with the pace is essential. Required education includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing. The dress code requires scrubs. No specific attire restrictions are noted. About Cynet Health
