Procurement Analyst
*Local to Raleigh, NC only please
*This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements when needed

• This contractor serves as an IT Business Office resource and is responsible for the procurement of contract and non-contract goods and services for the agency.
• Primary responsibilities include obtaining required vendor quotes processing purchase orders for software equipment and other commodities as assigned.
• Prepare and post to the NC Interactive Purchasing System IPS and complete bid solicitations including Request for Quotes RFQs Invitation for Bids IFBs Request for Proposals RFPs addendums amendments clarifications and exception documentation.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the procurement of goods and services for governmental agencies to make objective decisions and accurate judgments.
• Exceptional writing and listening skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions explicitly and be detailed-orientated.
• Working knowledge and experience of state policies and regulations.
• Procure Information Technology goods/services such as software equipment and other commodities as assigned.
• Comprehend apply and interpret established rules and regulations complex technical contract language.

• Thorough understanding of large and small-scale purchasing methods and procedures., Required 7 Years
• Thorough knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and Amendments., Required 7 Years
• Working knowledge of General Statutes, NC Administrative Code, and State IT Term Contracts., Required 7 Years
• Ability to train individuals on policy and procedures as it pertains to procurement at DIT-T., Required 7 Years
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written., Required 7 Years
• Can write extensive and complex technical information into specifications as needed according to State and/or project requirements., Required 7 Years
• Excellent interpersonal skills with all types of personalities., Required 7 Years
• Committed to meeting all deadlines and maintaining records of complexity and confidential nature., Required 7 Years
