As a **Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol** in **Cary, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients at government locations by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the credentials of individuals as required by site protocols.
+ Maintain accurate and timely logs and/or reports of security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
+ Follow all site-specific instructions and Allied Universal protocols while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors at the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must be able to ride a bike.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
