  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and charter-authorizer operational requirements

  • Supervise and support operations staff, including office and custodial teams

  • Develop and maintain systems for attendance, records, and operational reporting

  • Partner with the Principal and leadership team to support school-wide planning and execution

  • Coordinate logistics for school events, testing, and campus initiatives

  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who leads with precision, collaboration, and accountability.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy building and improving systems that support people and outcomes

  • Bring a strong understanding of school or organizational operations

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving

  • Balance compliance and structure with flexibility and service-minded leadership

  • Remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

You bring experience managing budgets, systems, and compliance in complex settings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in operations, finance, or organizational leadership

  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, systems, and compliance

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Commitment to Movement Schools’ mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in schools or mission-driven organizations is a plus.

  • Experience in a school, charter, or nonprofit environment

  • Familiarity with state and federal education compliance requirements

  • Experience supervising and developing staff

  • Proficiency with operational systems and data tracking

Why You’ll Love Working at Movement

You’ll make a strategic impact while supporting a mission-driven school community.

  • Mission-driven work: Your leadership directly supports scholar success

  • Strategic impact: Lead systems that strengthen school-wide performance

  • Collaborative leadership: Partner closely with school and network leaders

  • Professional growth: Opportunities for leadership development and advancement

  • Supportive culture: High expectations paired with strong systems and teamwork
