RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in 12-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (J4-NSICU)
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Self-schedule with unit needs consideration
• 6 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
• Float first to other ICUs or step-down units as needed
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• ICU experience required
• Neurology ICU experience preferred
• Care for post thrombectomy and TPA patients
• Manage post neurosurgery patients
• Perform CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring procedures
• Use Baxter pumps and Cerner documentation system
• Navy blue dress code required
• Unit secretaries and techs available for support
