Interventional Cardiologist job responsibilities/Benefits

Qualifications
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Ideal candidate: 2–5 years of experience
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
· This role offers a unique opportunity to manage the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease, focusing exclusively on coronary interventions within a strong environment for education, innovation, and clinical research
· Physicians will care for complex cardiac and vascular patients
· Opportunity is exclusively coronary, with no peripheral vascular or structural heart interventions
· Serving as overseeing attending for an APP led inpatient and outpatient APPs; responsibilities include morning rounds, care coordination, and consultative support
· Performing a full range of diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, including coronary angiography, PCI (angioplasty and stenting), atherectomy, and advanced coronary imaging (IVUS/FFR)
· Managing acute coronary syndromes (STEMI/NSTEMI) and complex coronary disease
· Typical Weekly Schedule: Two to three days per week in the cath lab performing procedures
