Position: Board-Certified Cardiologist

We’re actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to help expand our cardiovascular services and support our growing patient base in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.

• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based approaches.

• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, vascular studies, and stress tests (exercise, nuclear, and stress echocardiograms).

• Collaborate with primary care providers on cardiovascular disease management.

• Participate in limited rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns.

• Maintain current knowledge of advancements in cardiovascular medicine.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) in North Carolina .

• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship .

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (ABIM).

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.

• Proficiency with EMR systems ( Athenahealth experience preferred ).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship experience in cardiology.

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

• Compassionate communicator with a patient-first mindset.
