Comprehensive General Dentist (Full-Time) - Shelby, NC
Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually, plus full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and company-paid malpractice coverage. Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated General Dentist to join their growing team in Shelby, NC. This is a full-time, single-doctor office offering clinical autonomy, a strong existing patient base, and a supportive, well-trained staff. Ideally, looking for a provider experienced with Medicaid patient flow and pace. This opportunity is ideal for a dentist who wants to build and manage their own practice environment within a modern, newly constructed office—without the burden of ownership. You’ll have the freedom to deliver care your way, supported by advanced technology and a respected regional dental network. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental care including preventive, restorative, and therapeutic procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic imaging and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral health and hygiene best practices.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager and dental team to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations.
- Contribute to the professional development and mentorship of clinical staff as needed.
- Actively participate in daily huddles, case reviews, and ongoing team communication.
Qualifications:
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school
- Active North Carolina dental license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA license and current CPR certification
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Patient-centric, empathetic approach to care
- Commitment to ethical, high-quality dental practices
