**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for educational environments.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming atmosphere.
+ Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
+ Collaborate with campus staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and support a secure learning environment.
+ Provide information and assistance to individuals on campus, including directions and responding to general inquiries.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
