As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Site Location: Durham, NC
• We are currently recruiting for BOTH Security Officer and Supervisor positions
• Set Schedule: We are recruiting for multiple shifts and schedules.
• Competitive hourly wage:
  • Security Officer pay: $17.43 per hour
  • Security Supervisor pay: $19.47 per hour
  • Bi-weekly (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Must have an active North Carolina PPSB License or had one that expired within 1 year (also known as a Guard Card).
• Must be over the age of 21 years old.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• FOR SUPERVISORS: Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead, Manafer, etc)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
