Appointment Setter / Sales Development Representative (Recruitment)

Job description:

Our client is growing their sales organization and seeking an Appointment Setter to help recruit new Account Executives (AEs) into the team. This role is phone-first: you’ll be making outbound calls, building rapport, and setting interviews between qualified AEs and the company’s sales managers.

You’ll start with a database of 800+ identified AEs and continue to work new leads as they are added into the CRM. Your success will be measured by the number of qualified appointments you book each week.

This is a role for someone who thrives on activity, loves the challenge of outbound calling, and has the persistence to handle rejection while keeping their energy high.

Responsibilities:

  • Make 100–150 outbound calls per day using RingCentral and CRM tools
  • Reach out to potential Account Executives at non-QM lenders and brokerages
  • Introduce the AE opportunity, answer basic questions, and schedule interviews with sales managers
  • Consistently book 1 or more qualified appointments per day (goal: 5+ per week)
  • Keep CRM records up-to-date with notes, call outcomes, and appointment details
  • Work closely with managers to adjust strategies based on results and feedback

Requirements

  • Experience in appointment setting, telesales, or recruiting outreach preferred
  • Clear, professional phone presence with excellent communication skills
  • Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing momentum
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by daily/weekly targets
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and dialing software
  • Must be available Monday–Friday during U.S. business hours

Benefits

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base pay: $1,500/month
  • Performance pay: $25–$50 per qualified appointment that shows (depending on type of lead)
  • OTE: $2,000–$3,000/month with opportunities to grow as lead volume expands
  • Paid base twice monthly; commissions paid monthly
  • 100% remote role with flexibility for international contractors
