Seashore Soccer League Competitive Coaching Staff Application
Duties & Responsibilities
- Duties
- Manage Team Practices
- Coach is responsible for the planning and running of practices consistent with SSL’s Philosophy and Curriculum and any direction set by the Technical Director.
- Manage Team Games
- Coach will be present at all games, training sessions, and tournaments. Additional times for camps may be need.
- Manage Team Scheduling
- Coach is responsible for coordinating their league schedule and reporting to the Field Coordinator
- Player Evaluations
- Coach is responsible for completing seasonal player evaluations for their players.
- Manage Team Practices
- Skills and Competencies
- USSF D License required (or currently in the process)
- Positive Role Model
- Reliable
- Ability to manage players and parents
- Relationships
- Coaches report to the Technical Director for all coaching philosophies and techniques. Otherwise reports to the Director of Operations
- Salary $3,000- $5,000 per year (if child is not playing on team);
- Compensation includes receive one set of coaches uniforms, reimbursement for coaching education up to D license, registration fees waived for child in competitive program.
