ER RN Job Details – Albany, NY
- Location: Albany, NY 12208 – Explore the charm of New York's capital, known for its rich history, scenic parks, and thriving arts scene.
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- End Date: November 23, 2025
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310–$2370
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
- EMR System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department
- Strong professionalism, adaptability, and clinical skills
- Navy blue scrubs required for all shifts
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor, document, and report patient status and vital signs accurately
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
