Support Svc Team Ldr

:

Functions/acts as a work leader in the support services department to coordinate workflow in one or more of the following areas. Responsible for reviewing and assigning work. Researches, troubleshoot and follows- up customer inquires. Perform administration duties as assigned by supervisor. Through Knowledge of Customer services procedures and operations. Other duties as assigned.

Reference Specimen Control is responsible for the receipt and distribution of over 50,000 samples from various labs that require testing to be performed at the CET/ADRL facility. The CSSR team manages inquiries from all Labcorp locations regarding sample management, testing with testing departments and test adding. RSC supports regional Matrix, Toxicology, Chemistry, Serology, Special Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Allergy and all facets of Microbiology.

Schedule: Saturday-Monday 6:00am to 6:00pm

Reference Specimen Control is responsible for the receipt and distribution of over 25,000 accessions per day from various other regional labs that require esoteric testing to be performed at the CET facility.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of medical/clinical laboratory experience is preferred
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blind test
