**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking an experienced Utility Coordinator to join our transportation business line in North Carolina. This position is part time 24 hours per week and remote work option.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as a fully capable professional in the field with minimal direction.
+ Apply advanced knowledge to develop design procedures software and tools to facilitate high quality cost-effective technical project activities.
+ Develops estimates of technical efforts for projects.
+ Manages communication and collaboration with full design team and clients.
+ Conducts interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and develops estimates of technical efforts for projects.
+ Oversee the development and implementation of technical approach and the completion of complex work which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
+ Initiates and creates project designs and plans with responsibility for preparing presentations and design drawings.
+ Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings.
+ Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
+ May oversee the work of less experienced designers.
+ Meets with clients and oversee all aspects of the project to ensure client needs are met.
+ provides utility coordination services for highway, bridge, and municipal projects throughout North Carolina.
+ Read, interpret, and review transportation construction plans to coordinate public and private utility relocations to accommodate projects.
+ Attend utility meetings with various stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
+ BA/BS in related field and 6 years of utility coordination related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience reading and interpreting highway construction plans and utility construction plans.
+ Experience in communicating with public agencies, contractors, or utility companies.
+ Experience in project management scheduling and coordinating multiple factors in the project.
+ Experience planning and coordinating utility relocations.
+ Proficient in performing duties independently with limited supervision.

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $135000 to $150000.
