C4 Construction Group dba DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen is a design-build firm specializing in residential remodeling, focusing on bath and kitchen remodels but we also do other projects such as basement/attic conversions, outdoor kitchens and living spaces etc. We’re known for our attention to detail, craftsmanship, and client-first approach. At our core our goal, we take the chaos out of construction. We’re growing fast and looking for a skilled Carpenter to work with us on a contract basis.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead carpentry activities on residential remodel job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and scope documents.
- Perform demolition, remove existing fixtures, cabinets, countertops, flooring, potentially walls to prepare space for new design.
- Perform skilled carpentry including framing, trim, cabinetry installation, doors, backsplash, tilework, building out showers, and finishing small drywall projects.
- Perform finish plumbing and electrical, installation and connections of plumbing fixtures, caps on drain, water supply lines etc. Connecting devices, installs outlets, switches, testing systems etc.
- Ensure all work meets code, safety, and our quality standards.
- Collaborate with the General Contractor and in-house Designer to review and identify any potential issues early and ensure the design can be executed efficiently.
- Solve problems independently and adapt to unexpected site conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Communicate with clients on-site in a professional manner.
- Document and comminate with the Project Manager/General Contractor via programs within the company.
- Willing to always put the clients needs and desires first.
Skills & Experience Needed:
- 5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential remodeling or construction.
- Solid knowledge of structural framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, cabinet installation, and drywall. Having experience in tile, flooring, and other trades is a plus.
- Ability to lead a jobsite and coordinate with subcontractors when needed (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) and hold each accountable to our standards.
- Experience reviewing and executing from plans and project scopes.
- Detail-oriented with a “do it the right way, always” mindset. We pride ourselves off high-end quality work.
- Clear, respectful communication with clients, team members, and supervisors at all times.
- Reliable, presentable transportation and a valid driver’s license. We cover a large area of the Lake Norman NC region.
- Must have your own tools and be comfortable working as a 1099 contractor.

- Familiarity with local building codes and jobsite safety standards.
- Tech-Savvy, we use programs on the jobs site for plans, scheduling, communications, documentation, images etc.. The person should be comfortable using smart phones or tablets and apps on the job site.
