Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Audit Manager for our Non-Profit division. This is a remote position that provides an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with a specific focus on non-profit organizations. This role is central to our mission of providing top-notch financial management and assurance services to our clients. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Audit Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the non-profit audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and completion of financial statements.
2. Reviewing and preparing financial statements, footnotes, and all other client deliverables.
3. Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
4. Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to senior management and clients.
5. Supervising and mentoring junior staff, promoting their professional growth and development.
6. Collaborating with partners and clients to provide strategic and financial insights.
7. Managing multiple engagements and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget.
8. Maintaining and developing strong professional relationships with clients to understand their business and meet their needs.
9. Participating in business development initiatives, including proposal development and client presentations. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Manager position must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent, with a focus on auditing.
2. An active CPA license.
3. Extensive experience in auditing non-profit organizations.
4. Proven experience as a controller or similar role.
5. Strong knowledge of CAS (Cost Accounting Standards).
6. Experience in both private and public sectors.
7. Exceptional knowledge of assurance practices.
8. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
9. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
10. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, utilizing digital tools and platforms.
12. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
