Operations - Support Assistant
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
- Create shipping documentation for all orders, including:
- Bill of Lading
- Packing Lists
- Shipping Labels
- Customs documentation for all export shipments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all freight and product claims.
- Ensure receipt and completeness of required claim documentation, including:
- Claims forms
- Supporting images of damaged items and cartons
- Review claims to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough investigations of orders, claims, clients, and products to determine the most appropriate resolution.
- Conduct annual physical inventory audits.
- Run and analyze monthly reorder reports.
- Provide accurate inventory and reorder recommendations based on prior fiscal year sales data and forecasting needs.
- Upon owner approval, prepare and submit purchase orders to production.
- Perform order entry as needed, including:
- Sales orders
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Custom purchase orders
- Confirm lead times, order status, and logistics ETAs for customers.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Prepare and mail sales materials and product samples as requested.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in furniture logistics operations and customer service.
- Highly motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed company goals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Acts as a brand ambassador at all times, representing the company with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
