Basic Job Functions: The Associate Sales Manager is a division-based leadership position that will include irect reports and leadership responsibilities. This position will serve our Bar and Engineered Bar Groups. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Become embedded with the division leadership team in achieving business, safety, and profit objectives.
- Model commercial excellence while consistently driving Value Based Selling.
- Lead, model, nurture, and avance the Nucor culture.
- Work closely with group sales leadership to drive safety, profitability, volume and order management.
- Lead a group of direct reports as assigned by the division.
- Coordinate with DSMs in executing commercial strategy.
- Support the group sales team in development and execution of the commercial strategy with specific accounts and objectives as assigned.
- Develop effective strategies on strategic customers and markets.
- Participate in coaching and development of sales teammates to build the talent bench.
- 5 years combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing.
- Previous leadership experience
- Four-year degree in Business/Marketing
