What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional , you will be working to make a difference in other people’s lives.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities. Ensure they are in a clean, safe, healthy environment at all times by:
• Assist with activities of daily living such as proper hygiene and personal care.
• Administer medications timely and document.
• Transport individuals to activities in the community.
• Maintain documentation of daily goals using an online system.
• Rotating cleaning schedules.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
• Effectively communicate with other team members.

Qualifications

• caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• must be at least 18 years old
• must have high school diploma (or equivalent)
• must pass criminal background and drug screening
• must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
• experience with IDD clients preferred
