Job Opportunity – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (Physiatrist) – North Carolina

Schedule: Full-time, 5×8-hour shifts per week combining inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic (2-3 clinic days per week). Scheduled role with no call required. Clinic volume 15-17 patients per day; inpatient rounding and consults 5-7 patients per day.

• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including 6 physicians, APP support, 2 neuropsychologists, physical/occupational/speech therapists, nursing, social work, and dedicated clinical/administrative staff
• On-site C-arm and procedure suite with 11 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms in the outpatient practice
• Comprehensive support groups for stroke, brain injury, amputee, and spinal cord injury patients; integrated neuropsychology and cognitive testing services
• EMR: Epic (1 year experience preferred)

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with both inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Specific experience in inpatient rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries required
• Proficiency in spinal procedures and neuro/head trauma management
• North Carolina medical license or IMLC eligibility (willing to sponsor licensure)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Vaccines mandatory as per facility policy
