Assistant Innkeeper 9am-6:30pm (Hotel Front Desk/HSK)
The Assistant Innkeeper Position combines the duties of Front Desk and Housekeeping as needed. As the first point of contact for our guests, this position is the face of the hotel. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for taking reservations, checking guests in and out of rooms, directing calls, answering guests’ questions and concerns, etc. This is a service oriented position and requires outstanding interpersonal communication skills and friendly professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations using the hotel's booking system and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability.
- Process payments and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist housekeeping when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay
- Check guests in and out, process payments, and handle reservations
- Answer phone calls and emails, provide information about the inn and local area
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and laundry
- Stock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or housekeeping preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
