Snapshot of Position :

• This position designs, implements, tests automation and control systems for process or manufacturing systems. This position has discretion over designs and modifications for client projects with Group Lead and client support. It also provides support to fellow team members.

Location & Travel:

• Primary Location: Durham, NC with the possibility to support clients at other locations

Your Roles Responsibilities:

• Building good relationships with customers
• Designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
• Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems
• Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation
• Investigating and solving complex problems
• Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors
• Addressing on-call requests as needed
• Being a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments

• Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance

What You Need for this Position:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field
• 2-4 years of experience in process control and automation
• 2-4 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus)
  

• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
• Ability to address on-call requests as needed
