Our Greensboro Corporate Fleet Department is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Service Writer. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet vehicles, contributing significantly to the success of our projects. Responsibilities

• Accurately and thoroughly document all vehicle maintenance and repair histories using the current maintenance software.
• Schedule services at appropriate intervals and facilitate payment for parts and services rendered.
• Manage roadside assistance to various departments and sister companies.
• Interact professionally with in-house technicians and outside repair shops.
• Ensure accountability and reliability in all tasks performed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee safety.
• Utilize time management skills to organize and complete work within given deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, whether hands on or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with the ability to quickly learn other supporting software platforms.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of general automotive/truck terminology including the DVIR process.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of teammembers.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb in and out of truck cabs, and navigate to and lay on floor creeper to inspect undercarriage components.
