Job Opening: Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Proficient)
Huntersville, NC
A growing accounting firm seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong experience in QuickBooks to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and confident managing multiple client accounts in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns (individuals and small businesses)
- Process payroll and sales tax filings as needed
- Prepare year-end closings and financial reports
- Prepare year-end adjusting journal entries
- Communicate with clients regarding documentation and deadlines
Requirements:
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adjust priorities based on clients' needs
- Analytical thinking...this is not just a date entry position
