We're looking for a Process Engineer in Cary, NC who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on Life Science projects in a variety of facilities including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), Fill/Finish, Single Use and similar Biopharmaceutical factories. Additionally, we maintain strong relationships with a number of clients in the industrial space that provide exciting and creative work. You’ll be accountable for the technical accuracy and quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations. In addition, you will get the opportunity to help establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets, develop P&IDs and process equipment specifications.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2+ years of experience in chemical process industries

• Familiarity with current GMP regulations and best practices

• Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) (or desire to obtain registration)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Ability to collaborate and work in multi-disciplinary teams

• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $115,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
