Reports to Development Director
The Marketing Communications Coordinator position is responsible for creating and implementing the overall marketing strategy for Sanford Contractors. The Marketing Communications Coordinator, under general supervision of the Development Director, performs a variety of responsibilities to include oversight of all marketing campaigns, managing social media, supporting public relations efforts, and leading internal communication efforts that align with our organization's Mission and Values.

Knowledge of and experience with WordPress website design and maintenance
Knowledge of and experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
Copy writing, design, simple video/photography, and audio production and manipulation skills
Exceptional organization skills
Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail
Willing and able to travel to job sites, career fairs and industry related events/seminars
Core Duties:
Lead by example
Be punctual, dependable and professional at all times
Work with cost effectiveness, profitability and safety in mind
Work closely with all Divisions to effectively promote SCI's Mission and Values
Develop and design Project Portfolios, Design Build proposals, bid documents, and other client-specific materials as needed to support project pursuits.
Assist with special communications campaigns and projects, like Construction Safety Week
Work closely with the HR Dept to ensure all Internal communications meet SCI standards
Develop and distribute the Monthly Internal Newsletter and the Quarterly External Newsletter to include project and team member spotlights
Lead the monthly Marketing Committee meeting to develop and implement the annual Marketing Strategy
Oversee and create all outside sales/advertising
Work closely with the Development Director and Business Development Manager to manage all internal partner lists
Manage the Company website, SCI portal, and ShareFile account to ensure they present updated and accurate information
Content creation and Management of all company social media platforms
Create all Company marketing content including project photography
Attend events through local Chambers, Economic Development groups as needed
Assist the HR Dept with the preparation and planning of career fairs
Coordinate with the HR Dept and Office Manager on all Company events (Partner Appreciation Day, Family Day, Leadership Summit, Back to School Supply Night, Project Milestone events, etc.)
Respond to all external inquiries through social media/website
Assist the Office Manager with coordinating, ordering, and distributing all Team Member and Customer Appreciation items
Assist the Office Manager with the administration of the online Company Store
Serve as a point of contact for all public relations efforts
Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of marketing and/or communications experience is preferred.
- Valid driver license with acceptable MVR to qualify to operate a Company vehicle as needed
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in English and Spanish (preferred)
Reasoning Ability:
- Willing and able to learn new ideas, processes and develop skills required
Physical Demands:
- Stressful at times due to deadline demands
- May require a combination of sitting, standing and walking.
- Lifting will be limited to no greater than 50 lbs.
