Linen Distribution Director

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Linen Distribution Director to join their team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC .

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is responsive to customer needs.
• Monitors daily operations and supervises all linen distribution department employees.
• Plans and coordinates distribution within units at the facility.
• Orders new linen and manages the relationship between the vendor and the client.
• Manages IPA and scrubEX software/equipment
• Creates data reports routinely, conduct quarterly meetings with client
• Orients and instructs new workers. Trains new workers in the use of supplies by demonstrating use and explaining operating techniques in order to improve production and maintain workflow.
• With assistance of Human Resources Department, if required, resolves any personnel problems in the department.
• Manages linen inventories, establishes par levels, manages facility microfiber program and processing
• Implements and monitors in-service education programs for Linen Distribution Services staff.
• Understands and controls departmental expenses such as supply need and labor costs to maintain budget conditions.
• Maintains established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations.
• Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation. Adheres to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance, with all local, stated, and federal regulations and codes.
• On occasion, assists workers and performs any of the operations supervised in order to maintain production schedule.

Performs all other related duties as needed or assigned.
