Senior Accountant

As a full-time salaried employee of Robert Half , you'll work on rewarding accounting projects with leading organizations throughout the Fort Worth area. Most assignments are with one client at a time, allowing you to become part of the team while gaining exposure to new industries, systems, and business challenges.

What You'll Do

Project assignments may include:

• Month-end and year-end close
• General ledger accounting
• Account reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis
• Fixed assets
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Audit preparation
• Process improvements
• ERP implementations and system conversions
• Interim accounting support during growth, leave coverage, or special projects

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Three or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to different business environments

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• Manufacturing
• Healthcare
• Financial Services
• Construction
• Distribution
• Microsoft Dynamics
• SAP
• Oracle
• NetSuite
• Workday
• JD Edwards
• Sage
• QuickBooks

CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply.
