Sales Engineer - Automation Solutions (Remote - U.S.)
We’re recruiting for a Sales Engineer - Automation Solutions to join our client’s expanding team. This is a fully remote position within the United States , offering the chance to represent a global leader in power and thermal management systems serving industrial automation, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing markets. Relocation assistance or remote flexibility is available for qualified candidates.
In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to help customers solve complex automation challenges. You’ll partner with clients to identify needs, recommend solutions, and drive business growth across a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities
Develop and expand customer relationships across automation markets nationwide.
Lead solution-based sales efforts for PLC, VFD, SCADA, and control systems.
Serve as the key technical and commercial contact for strategic accounts.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and forecasts to leadership.
Collaborate with internal engineering and applications teams to ensure success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience in automation, controls, or electrical systems.
Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, and control system design.
Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Prior technical sales or applications engineering experience preferred.
Additional Details
Salary: $120,000–$205,000 base (includes 35–45% bonus)
401(k) match up to 10% with full benefits
Travel: approximately 20% (U.S. and Canada)
Relocation or remote options available
