Buddy Isles Collision is looking for a motivated Collision Manager / Estimator to help lead repair planning, production flow, and customer communication in our growing collision center.

This position is ideal for someone currently working at a dealership body shop, DRP shop, or independent collision center who wants a long-term opportunity with a respected, locally owned business.

Our shop operates inside a modern 55,000 sq. ft. facility and focuses on quality repairs, efficiency, and strong customer relationships.

What You'll Do

Vehicle Damage Assessment and Estimating:

• Inspect vehicles and document structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage.
• Take detailed photos and notes during vehicle intake and teardown.
• Write accurate repair estimates using industry estimating systems.
• Follow OEM procedures and industry P-Pages.
• Work with technicians during disassembly to identify additional damage.
• Increase repair opportunities while maintaining proper repair standards.

Parts and Repair Planning:

• Research and source parts for repair plans.
• Coordinate parts ordering and vendor communication.
• Ensure parts arrive on time to keep repairs moving.
• Assist with materials and supply sourcing when needed.

Insurance and Customer Communication:
Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters for approvals and supplements.
Explain repair processes and estimates to customers.
Ensure vehicle intake documentation is complete and accurate.
Address customer questions and concerns professionally.

Production and Leadership:

• Help maintain the daily production schedule.
• Coordinate repair progress between technicians, parts, and estimators.
• Lead or assist with morning production meetings.
• Monitor repair cycle times and shop efficiency.
• Ensure quality control throughout the repair process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in collision repair, estimating, or production management.
• Strong understanding of vehicle damage analysis and repair planning.
• Ability to work with technicians, customers, and insurance companies.
• Organized and able to manage multiple repairs at once.
• Leadership mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 2–5+ years in collision repair, estimating, or production roles.
• Experience with CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar systems.
• Understanding of OEM repair procedures.
• I-CAR training or certifications are a plus.
