Operations Analyst
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The Operations Analyst plays a vital role in optimizing the operational efficiency and effectiveness for their assigned Region. The Operations Analyst works closely with Operational Leaders to provide administrative and strategic support in the day-to-day coordination, development, and execution of initiatives that drive growth, account retention, carrier management, and client service excellence. The Operations Analyst identifies opportunities for process improvement, streamlines workflows, and enhances overall productivity. A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY
- Identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current processes, recommends and implements solutions to streamline workflows and enhance overall operational efficiencies.
- Maintains open and effective communication with team members to ensure operational changes are effectively implemented and consistent within both the assigned Region, as well as companywide.
- Champions communication of goals, vision, and procedures developed by leadership.
- Reviews, revises, and implements procedures and workflows to keep pace with technology, industry changes, and compliance.
- Quickly learns new technology initiatives offered by Relation and helps train team members to incorporate and effectively utilize these initiatives.
- May participate in the hiring process and provide recommendations for new hires.
- Oversees and manages the new hire onboarding process to ensure success of the new associate.
- Trains team members on duties, expectations, standards, and policies. Audits and reviews these areas regularly as set by service standards; identifies/coordinates additional employee training as needed.
- Provides feedback to management and team members about operational structure to improve performance and productivity.
- Coordinates time off within the department to ensure service levels and appropriate reporting of time off.
- Monitors expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets are met for assigned offices. Updates vendor invoices and other documents from former agency/former owner names/information to assigned Region, including appropriate addresses and tax ID.
- Generates regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into operational performance and key metrics, enabling informed decision-making by Regional Leadership.
- Efficiently manages resources, including equipment and facilities. Works with the Procurement team to ensure allocated resources effectively meet operational demands.
- Stays up to date and informed about industry trends and best practices. Ensures all operational processes and procedures adhere to industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class service experience.
- Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.
- Four-year in related field preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
- CPCU, CISR, CIC, AIS and/or AFIS, a plus.
- Knowledge of Agency Management Systems (ex: AMS, Agency Zoom) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the insurance industry with a focus on applicable lines of coverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Strong technical ability. Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Self-directed and organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver’s License may be required depending on location.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. . $41,000.00 - $77,000.00
