We are actively seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager to join a rapidly growing sitework contractor with a strong presence across North Carolina, including a growing foothold in the Greenville area. This company has built its reputation on strategic preconstruction planning, deep expertise in industrial sitework, and a collaborative leadership style that sets its team up for success. With over $11M in current projects and $4M in backlog, they’re gaining serious traction — and now they’re looking for a sharp, motivated PM who can lead major warehouse site development projects from the ground up. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager position include:- 7–10 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, especially sitework for warehouses- Strong understanding of underground utilities, stormwater drainage, production rates, and managing large-scale industrial site projects- Proven experience managing project scopes between $5M – $15M, with direct involvement in cost engineering and preconstruction planning- Ability to work closely with superintendents, estimators, and leadership to deliver quality and efficiency on-site- ​PE license is preferred, but not required- Familiar with software tools including Bluebeam, HCSS, AGTEK, Bid and Heavy Job, GPS, Topcon- Comfortable working a 45-hour workweek and splitting time between field trailers (no centralized office) and on-site project managementSalary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
