As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verifying credentials and observing for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential risks.
• Support site protocols related to opening and closing procedures, visitor management, and other assigned security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a degree in criminal justice.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
