Job Summary:
Our private dental office in Statesville, NC is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Team Member to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate has prior dental office experience and is comfortable managing scheduling, insurance, and patient communication.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations
• Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
• Check patients in/out and manage daily schedules
• Verify dental insurance and explain coverage/benefits to patients
• Collect payments and manage patient account balances
• Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and eligibility
• Assist with general administrative and office support tasks
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming front office environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of dental office front desk experience (required)
• Familiarity with dental insurance verification and claims
• Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• High school diploma or equivalent required
