We are looking for a Transaction Coordinator to join a national real estate organization in Charlotte, North Carolina on a Contract basis. This contract opportunity supports the acquisitions team by keeping property transactions organized, documented, and moving forward on schedule. The role is well suited for someone who is detail-focused, responsive, and comfortable working with both internal stakeholders and external service partners in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:• Coordinate acquisition files from opening through completion, ensuring each step is documented and tracked accurately.
• Communicate with loan servicers and other external contacts to obtain payment information, required records, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized digital and physical transaction records so documents remain current, accessible, and audit-ready.
• Monitor critical dates and follow up on pending items to help the team meet deadlines and avoid processing delays.
• Prepare, sort, and manage transaction paperwork with a high level of accuracy and attention to compliance standards.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the acquisitions team, including assisting with scheduling, correspondence, and related coordination tasks.
• Support onboarding into the hybrid schedule by working on site during the initial training period and collaborating closely with team members in the office.
• Help ensure smooth communication across teams involved in acquisitions, lending, and transaction processing.
• Prior experience in loan processing, administrative support, transaction coordination, real estate operations, mortgage services, lending, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and outside partners.
• Excellent organizational abilities and a careful approach to handling detailed documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once in a deadline-driven environment.
• Sound judgment and a proactive mindset when resolving issues and following up on open items.
• Experience supporting loan-related, servicing, acquisitions, or property transaction processes is strongly preferred.
