Sales Estimator (Metal Stamping)
- Technical Quoting: Review customer prints to determine the best manufacturing methods and provide professional cost information.
- Drive Growth: Increase sales volume through successful quotes and improve margins by re-quoting existing parts.
- Customer Care: Act as a problem-solver and primary contact for order tracking and service.
- Team Collaboration: Work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced office environment, occasionally visiting the shop floor to stay close to the process.
- Industry Experience: A required background in Metal Stamping and professional sales experience.
- Technical Mindset: Ability to read prints accurately; a degree in Engineering or Business is a plus.
- Soft Skills: An assertive, customer-oriented attitude with excellent time management skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

In this role, you won’t just be crunching numbers; you will be the bridge between our customers' technical requirements and our manufacturing capabilities. You will play a critical role in increasing sales volume through strategic quoting and improving margins by analyzing existing part processes. Key Responsibilities
- Precision Estimating: Review incoming customer prints and requests to determine the most cost-effective manufacturing methods.
- Strategic Communication: Deliver accurate cost information to customers in a professional, expedient manner.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a primary point of contact for problem-solving, order tracking, and general customer service.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the office team to ensure a smooth workflow, handling general office duties as needed to support the division’s goals.
- Margin Optimization: Proactively re-quote existing customer parts to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Experience: A solid background in Metal Stamping is required.
- Professional History: Proven experience in Sales (non-telemarketing) is required; prior Customer Service experience is highly preferred.
